01 đź—ˇ SUNLIGHT ROOM
[ andy claimed a bed in the dorms, but it doesn't mean she always uses it. she prefers napping and sleeping in the sunlight room, because even if she knows it probably isn't real, it feels real enough to trick her for a little while. it's definitely her favorite and most frequented spot on board. she's got a supply of blankets and booze tucked near her tree, which is all she really needs. ]
[ sometimes she is sleeping, sometimes she's just laying there in the grass, staring up at the sky. her labrys is always nearby, whether she's with her blanket nest near one of the trees she's claimed for herself or hanging out with her feet in the stream. sometimes she just... wanders, wishing it was bigger. ]
[ she sits by the brook, munching on a big bowl of cereal while the water swims by her feet. there's a sealed bottle of what she hopes is close enough to vodka in the grass by her shoes, and her pants are rolled up to her knees. ] It's not that cold, in case you're wondering.
[ or maybe you just... find her in her blanket burrito, dead asleep. one of the nice things about being immortal is she doesn't have to worry about anyone killing her while she's resting. she has no wounds to heal from via braccia, she's just very tired. all the time. ]
02 đź—ˇ KITCHEN GREMLIN
[ just because andy is rather old doesn't mean she's got any sort of finesse in the kitchen. she knows how to cook, of course, but she doesn't really... care to most of the time. especially when she's had a millennium of nicky's food and nicky's cooking and he enjoys taking over there. so when she eats on ximilia, she eats more like a goblin. ]
[ it's not like there's a sun cycle, and her body is struggling a little bit to get into a set schedule when she can't follow a nature based pattern. so she ends up in the kitchen scrounging for food at all hours of the day and night, running into all sorts of people. ]
[ catch her sitting on the countertop eating pasta - but it's just the plain noodles, freshly boiled, still in the pot which she is holding one handed with an oven mitt, the other hand making use of her fork. it looks close enough to spaghetti that she deemed it acceptable and she probably made a little too much for one person, but again: she is simply eating it out of the pot. it might not be shareable. ]
[ there's very little that isn't acceptable to her for food at this point. andromache the scythian will eat anything, and they don't have what she needs to make good baklava. ]
03 đź—ˇ TRAINING ROOM
[ andy isn't in here training. she doesn't need any training. but she is here to watch and check out what other people are capable of, to see how and where they'll all be useful the next time around. she already knows there are quite a few skilled people aboard, but she's curious about the variety. she carries no weapons on her here, not worried about needing any. plenty of people have already offered their services to the whole group, and she hasn't quite decided if she intends to be among those numbers. ]
[ still, she knows some people have seen what she can do by now, whether via the fighting rings or via the heist itself. mostly she is munching on what she thinks are some kind of potato chips with a half empty bottle of presumably wine beside, idly observing the people who come in and out like some kind of weirdo. she has to get her entertainment somehow. ]
[ but she will clap if she is particularly impressed by something! cheers. ]
04 đź—ˇ WILDCARD
[ wild card!! hit me up to plot for something more specific if you want, on disco @ romanitas#5368 orcommunism! pls hit me up for some event follow up and after math stuff!! c: ]

sunlight room
Sometimes she also takes to simply wandering through the room, which is exactly what she's doing when she crosses the path of someone sitting with their feet in the stream. It's a charming enough sight that she stops and observes for a second.]
Oh. [Clara almost sounds disappointed by that] I was hoping it was.
[Her eyes shift from the water to the bottle of vodka.]
How's the water though?
[It's a joke. She knows they weren't originally talking about the vodka. Though she could really use a drink right about now.]
no subject
[ when andy realizes she's commenting on the bottle, she lets out a puff of a laugh. it actually is pretty chilled, she only just stole it from the kitchens. ] Sometimes you have to make do. It's the percentage that's more important.
[ she idly kicks at the water. ] Water's not bad, though it probably depends on your tolerance level.
no subject
[She sheepishly admits, nose wrinkling up as she glances down at the water. Since she's here though, she might as well find out. It doesn't take long to kick off her boots and then she's moving into the water. It's all fake, but it still feels real. And that's enough for now.]
But this? This is nice. Bit brisk, actually. But it makes me feel awake for the first time in a while.
[Her attention shifts back to the bottle.]
Are you in the mood to share?
no subject
[ andy reaches for the bottle and snaps it open fairly quickly. she doesn't have any cups, as she'd been intending to down it all alone, but she's not bothered by the concept of sharing it either. ]
Just don't drink it all on me.
Kitchen
Dressed in her pajamas, Daisy enters the kitchen expecting for everyone else to be asleep.]
Oh, hey. Didn’t expect anyone else to be in here.
[Daisy pulls down the sleeves of her oversized sweater to cover the braces on her arms.]
Didn’t feel like cleaning a bowl?
no subject
[ her own pajamas are just shorts and a t-shirt, which is probably half the reason for the oven mitt. too hot on her legs, though they'd heal quickly enough. andy briefly glances at the braces, but she doesn't bring it up (yet). ]
Sometimes you just want a midnight snack. [ which part is that an answer to?? maybe both. is it even midnight?? questions abound. ] Figured I'd save on a dish.
no subject
[Daisy goes on her tip toes to look in the pot,]
Plain pasta?
[You know what? She can't say anything. She's definitely done that exact thing before. Grabbing a box of opened cereal from the cupboard, Daisy opens the bag to see there isn't much in there. With a shrug she just reaches into the bag to pull out a handful of cereal and pops it in her mouth.]
Couldn't sleep?
[Daisy asks once her mouth is no longer full, leaning against the counter near Andy.]
no subject
[ daisy grabs the cereal and andy has virtually nothing to say about it. sometimes you're just in the mood for some dry crunchy garbage! ]
Apparently I'm still not used to the lack of consistent sun.
no subject
You get used to it, eventually.
[Daisy never thought she'd get used to being in space, but she grew used to it surprisingly quickly. Besides, touching down on other planets helped with that.]
How long have you been here anyway?
no subject
Are you from space too, or just better adjusted here? [ she feels like she has to keep adding on people to the space list, but when she thinks about it, she doesn't know much about daisy other than her name and her very cool powers. though the braces suggest something uncomfortable there. ]
In the kitchen? About a half hour. [ she takes another forkful of pasta, knowing that was not the question posed. ] But I arrived a little bit before the Braccia mission. You?

training room;
once he's gotten it off, though, kovacs doesn't waste time in trying to get his shape back to normal, finding himself in the training room, either sparring with others or doing his own personal workouts to get his muscles more familiar with the rush again.
he's on his own this afternoon, swinging his fists at a punching bag to feel the force of it against his knuckles, making sure both hands are still capable of handling a decent punch. sweaty from the work, he stops to catch a breather, noticing andy in the corner on her own, eating rather than doing any sort of training on her own.
pinching his shirt, already plenty sweaty, he tilts his head down to wipe at his forehead with it before walking over, hands on his hips. ] I see you're looking pretty good. [ for someone who was a dead girl. ]
no subject
[ she would much rather be eating than training, it's a far better use of her time! as a matter of fact, she shoves another handful of chips in her mouth, even as kovacs speaks to her. she doesn't care being caught watching him train, he's good and she's curious to watch how he gets back on his feet. ]
It's this new diet I started. Very high in starch. [ so many potato chips. ]
no subject
[ it's impressive how if he hadn't been there to witness it for himself, he likely wouldn't be able to tell at all that she'd died, just by looking at her now. even in his world, with dying and being put into a new sleeve, there's the after effects, the lasting physical shock, the sleeve sickness, not to mention the trauma.
he remembers the lifeless look of her eyes as he held her, nothing like the woman currently chowing on chips. ]
You really alright? [ maybe he's just a little concerned. like they're friends or something. shut up. ]
no subject
[ it was probably traumatic the first few times, but she barely remembers any of them. even coming back now, it's nothing. it's just nothing. there's the funky sensations of reawakening, the brief readjustment, but then they just... move along with the task at hand. ]
[ gross, don't use the f-word like that. ]
I am. I promise. It's not my first death and it won't be my last. [ eventually she'll have a last, but it's not like she'll know it. ] I feel like I should be asking you that question.
no subject
[ that it's not her first or last, seeing as how she moves like she's done it more times than she can count. the way she got back up was almost too natural, too instinctive. he's almost curious to know just how many times she's done it — or even, for how long.
he shrugs as she directs it back at him, holding out his arm that had once been in a sling, twirling out his wrist. ]
You know me by now. Always beat to shit, but always get back up. [ it's become too common for her to see him like that, honestly. ] Had to go the long way with healing, though.

That's a weird way of sayin' thank you.

I gotta see how it works first.
[ and technically! she said thank you on the video! she steps out of the room and closes the door behind her, gesturing. ] Training room?

And when he happens upon Andy one day sitting by the brook, he decides to approach curiously. ]
I wasn't. But thank you for the warning anyway.
You're out here a lot.
no subject
Are you watching me? [ there's an easiness in her tone that almost suggests teasing (she is) but it's subtle enough to be hard to tell. it's on purpose. ]
no subject
Watching you...? No! Not — that makes me sound creepy!
[ Suddenly the defense. But it's that awkward, flaily sort of defense where he's just instantly making a big deal about nothing. ]
I just noticed because this station is only so big and there are only so many of us here!!
no subject
You're fine. I don't care. Keeping tabs on the crew is probably a smart idea.
no subject
But at her response, he lets out a small huff as he winds down from the overreaction easily enough. ]
It is. I've have plenty of tabs to keep on my own team back home, so it's not exactly much different here. But it's also not hard to do even if you're not aiming to.
