[In Ryunosuke's experience... Punishments being very final is still an issue, even with a proper trial system in place. Especially true in a capital punishment heavy country like England... Hard not to think about Genshin, who'd had to use every ounce of wit about him to try and avoid his fate... And still came up short, in the end.]

But... How does that it work, exactly? If you don't mind explaining. When someone is accused of a crime, do your people still hold trials to deliberate guilt?
