If that's what you decide to do. We believe she used to be a real AI, just the code the original maker of this station had created her to be... but the orbs affected her. They made her more than an AI, freed her from what she had been... but I'm not sure what she is now is free, when she's a slave to the orbs, doing what they want her to do.
[ well. therein comes the issue of "death" — in her core, olivia is still a machine... so can she die? and if she can, will it be better for her to be killed, than keep her alive as something she was never meant to be — something she might not have ever chosen for herself? ]
