So he isn’t surprised when others are also drawn to its alluring aura. Pushing his wheelchair further down to meet Yzak by the middle of the window, he throws on his eyeglasses that dangle over his neck by a library chain.]
Peculiar isn’t it? Lightyears of pitch-black darkness and yet, our eyes continue to piece together this enormous puzzle.

Peculiar? [ Gazing back out again, he considers. ] I guess I never thought of it like that.
How are you feeling?

[He makes a similar side-glance towards Yzak.]
Are you alright?

I'm used to things turning out that way. Not that it makes me like it any more. [ He's just ... grown used to it. ]
But hopefully the proper path was set and the citizens and what ends up being left of the royalty and the nobles dedicate themselves to walking down it.
It's strange that we probably won't learn what happens there.

[He bluntly retorts. Not to prove Yzak wrong, but he knows the two are both casualties of war.]
Conflict is a very precarious thing. The moment you turn one stone down the mountain top, there’s no stopping its momentum. Our presence may have slowed down its trajectory, but we’ve yet to stop it.

But beyond that ... it's up to them, now, to do the rest of that work to move toward something better if it's what they truly want.
