But there are a lot of religions in the galaxy, and quite a few of them believe in something more like you're referencing, I think.

So you've got a basic concept of the afterlife. Where I'm from there's a good...ish place, and a really, really bad place. Torture, fire and brimstone kind of bad place.

That's.. horrible. And is that.. Are they real places?

[ why would a place like that exist? is dean's afterlife an eternal thing? how does new life come into existence with old life crowding up some post-existence? ]

Yeah, they are. Heaven and Hell. Hell's the bad place, and I know that ones real. Been there.
