[ Jim isn't at all the type to get flustered or embarrassed about anything, much less so about kissing people. The fact that Luke seems so into it only further delights him.

He dips a little lower even before Luke asks for it, letting out a soft laugh at the remark. ] Oh, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. Let me give you a hand with that.

[ Both his hands slide around Luke's waist, arms wrapping firmly around him. He doesn't hoist him up exactly, but he does keep that hold stable as he leans down, head canted to the side to press his lips over Luke's, the kiss lingering and (at least for the moment) chaste. ]

[ in spite of himself, luke sucks in a startled little breath as jim's arms slide around him, holding him firmly. it's nice, actually. considering he usually has to be the strong one around people, feeling.. secure is different.

he slides his own arms up around jim's neck, holding on, the fingers of his real hand curling loosely in the hair at the other man's nape as his mouth presses to luke's. he finds he's smiling a little into the kiss, letting himself lean into the arms around him, lips parting to deepen it a little. ]

[ Getting his hand on Jim's hair is quite possibly the best move Luke could have gone for right now. Those fingers weaving through the strands easily elicit a pleased sound from him, and he immediately presses further into the kiss, pulling Luke closer, tongue dragging across Luke's upper lip.

More of a test at first, just seeing how much, how far he might be allowed. Barring any opposition, he'll swipe deeper into Luke's mouth, one hand sliding up his spine while he tastes him. ]

[ oh, that was apparently the right thing to do. luke hums a laugh into the kiss, meeting jim's tongue with his own, nails scratching gently against the other man's scalp.

he parts from the kiss to nip the other man's lower lip, tugging gently, before turning it into a second kiss, fingers raking up again and tightening in sandy blond hair. ]

[ It was the right thing to do if Luke intended to encourage him, and given his reaction, he figures that's the case.

The thought crosses his mind that they've already kissed once so it should be fine, but then Luke's leaning into him for more, and he's nothing if not incredibly obliging right now. The sound he makes is a little deeper, more pronounced now, and both his hands dig firmer into Luke's back, pulling him closer to return the kiss with equal intensity and excitement. ]
