I have not advanced in some time.
[ not since he killed his father. he wanted the long sleep, the desire to end his woes in dreams. taka and sumi took advantage of his loneliness.
but he was still alucard. he chose his mother's people. because it's . . . what she wanted. even now, he does not doubt that.
with effort, he picks up his sword and sheaths it. ]
