this is perfect. kovacs will successfully manage to swipe the lionetta officer's badge (question: what does it look like, exactly? is it like a card? does it have an emblem on it? etc.?) when he finds the right opportunity to, leaving him none the wiser.

later in the wee hours of the morning, kovacs will head out to reconvene with the others at the doctor (11)'s (borrowed) car. the doc will be there already, sitting in the front seat. kovacs will let him know he's got the badge and question what the hell eleven's got draped around him (his new shawl! it's his favourite! look at it, it's so pink!) and also: 'Where the hell is the old man?'

so pleased with his new friends and their gift to him, the doctor will snap back to their present situation and note that his older regeneration hasn't ... come back yet. about to say something, they'll suddenly hear screams from within the strip club — the doctor (12) will have fallen through the ceiling of one of girls' boudoirs by mistake.

kovacs and the doc (11) will have to head back in to do a quick rescue. (and we'll thread the rest of this out, but do let us know if anything else exciting happens or if we can take it from here.)
