1. Petra seems to be something of a history buff, and will happily chatter on about the Lionetta history — about how it's so amazing they're the oldest of the families, and how many of the investments in the city infrastructure were originally funded by the Lionetta family. As for the mines, she seems a little less interested in those — they closed them because there was nothing more to find, she says, but of course we were the only family smart enough to respect the wealth they brought the city. I actually got a chance to see the entrance to the mine, you know, it's really impressive, a real piece of our family's history!
(As for the shaft jokes... Petra doesn't seem to catch on, but if Evgen is nearby as the conversation goes on, he has to exit halfway through after trying and failing not to crack up.)

"Shh," another guard says, "Ain't for us to know, ain't for us to speculate. You know how Miss Olexa feels about gossip."
"Well, if she doesn't want us to gossip, she could tell us what's in there! Aren't we trustworthy enough?"
The first member shakes his head.
"Clearly we ain't... but," directing this to Richie, "Take my word for it, it's something important. Only the boss's direct subordinates have access, so it gotta be. But you don't want the higher-ups catching you talkin' this, they don't like it much."
