Tayyib stays a little longer, offering a tall tale of when he and his own party went to protect a town's border during some local strife. Not only did they suffer no casualties or injuries, but they made a friend so at the end of the campaign their party was a member stronger. It was a boring time (in real life Liechtenstein) but he tells it like it was an epic saga and almost like he does freelance work as a bard, it's full of magic and gallantry and a saucy love affair (it's his, he can't help but wax poetic about his Nicolò). Hopefully a story of adventure they will enjoy and remember more than his questions.

He sets off soon after to meet up with his sister, plotting a course for Elindes even whilst Guinevere the horse trots down the road.

With a destination in mind, Andronika indulges in only enough small talk to carry her through eating the rest of her massive steak, before she and Lancelot meet up with the rest of their party of two and she and Joe travel to find Nina Darkwood.
