I've never actually been to China myself. My family migrated during the war and I was born in Japan. I can speak a Chinese dialect though which is more than most third generation immigrants can do. [But that was completely not the point here.] And I was trained traditionally in a handful of Chinese martial arts.

Which brings me back around to qi. It's the old tradition of a life force that flows through everything in the world. On the streets back home sometimes we call it Heat as in the heat of battle. It lets you kind of use special skills if you're trained in it.

Traditional Chinese medicines believe and utilize it, too. Believe it or not, sometimes it kinda works to use the old school stuff. I've got ointments and potions if you're ever interested.
