[ Yeah, this people-saving schtick is a bummer, sorry Erik. ]
She was crying in an alley, hiding behind a dumpster. She hasn’t said much but I think she got separated from her mother when the fight broke out.
[ He pets her hair gently, just once to keep her calm. ]
Luckily I found her before the guards did.
[ God knows if they might’ve tried to use the children as leverage. ]
