"Yes." Sabriel admits with a nod, "We all struck a bargain, that we would reunite the fragments of the orb, and heed its requests, in exchange for our greatest regrets being undone."

Although now Sabriel has many more questions, like 'what is the orb's true nature?' and 'Will there be an additional cost?'.

"We're all from different places... and instead of seeking out the Orb, it, or someone else, sought us out instead. Whoever it was spoke to us in our dreams, asking us what we regretted... and giving us the chance to undo it. So there's much I don't know. Just that what you hold is a piece of something much larger, that wishes to be made whole again."
