But he's sympathetic to the intent behind Kaidan's question, that's for sure. The creature he burned to death died fast, and maybe it's honestly more humane than being shot, but the overwhelming deadliness sure does bother him too. At least if someone's shot in a way that doesn't kill them, it gives them time to surrender and get treated.
