Oh, I am, am I?

[He laughs, though it comes off as a touch nervous, and takes the rock. The sandwhale's eyes track the movement as it's passed between them, or maybe it's just watching them move in general, he can't really tell. But it's clearly watching something about what they're doing.

With a shrug, Rosinante eyes the desert sands, then waves the rock a little in the air to make sure the calf really gets the idea, before finally throwing it as far as he can - which, as Clara had rightly assumed, is awfully far.]


Now, maybe it'll leave, so its parents don't come over here.

[But the sandwhale calf apparently isn't that interested in rocks. It does shift its head in the sands a little to watch the rock go flying, then turns and looks at them again before flexing its tail end enough to raise it up higher so it can slap the surface of the sand with its flippers before sinking back down, showering them both in sand and again leaving just its head above the surface.]
