so for all the sudden surprise at the glowing rings that suddenly shoot past his shoulders to knock the bouldersnake off of his body and backwards, he's relieved for the aid and the chance to get his bearings, even as he nearly stumbles from the sudden imbalance of weight, planting his feet firmly on the ground to get himself properly upright again.
